Question by geneva_live: How fast can flat knitting machines make a garment?

Generally speaking (i know it all depends but give me examples) how long would it take for a flat knitting machine to create an average sized t-shirt or garments?

I could knit a size 40ins jumper in probably 2 evenings on my brother 965 if it was plain and set in sleeves.would need probably an other evening to sew it together.(assume knit for 2-3 hours each night).
