Global Knit-In: Finishing the Revolution Banner

I knitted the "Revolution" banner and cut out the letters from an old, worn-out, bedsheet. A few folks, like the fellow shown here, helped me finish stitching the letters onto the banner.

The Revolutionary Knitting Circle held a Global Knit-In at the G8 protests in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, on June 26, 2002.

Knitting group to hold raffle

The Broome County Public Library’s knitting group will hold a raffle at its Jan. 19 meeting at 6 p.m. All attendees will have up to four chances to win a copy of “Head to Toe Knits” by Bronwyn Lowenthal.
