What animals did the powers/allies use to represent themselves?

I can't remember whether it was the axis powers or the allies, but I'm trying to work out what animals they used to represent themselves during the World Wars. For instance, Germany used the eagle, Britain the lion and Russia the bear. Is this right, and what are the others? Thankyou!
